ELIZABETH M. VINHAL, ESQ.
Elizabeth is a partner in the firm since 2013. Selected as a Super Lawyer from 2015 to the present and named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2006 to 2014, she was the former co-chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the New Jersey State Bar. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Morris Lawyer, Morris County Bar Association’s legal newsletter, and has been an editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer, a prestigious family law publication for several years.
An adjunct professor in the conflict management department at Seton Hall University School of Law, she also serves as a panelist for the Morris County Early Settlement Panel. A frequent lecturer on family law topics for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Education Elizabeth has participated in several panels addressing family law matters.
Elizabeth is a court approved mediator and has been appointed by the Superior Court of New Jersey as a Guardian Ad Litem and parent coordinator in high conflict matters. She also volunteers her to the Jersey Battered Women’s Services, helping those in need.
Prior to joining the law firm of Schwartz Vinhal & Lomurro Family Law, LLC, Elizabeth was counsel at a prominent Morris County firm as a member of the firm’s matrimonial law department. Early in her law career, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert A. Fall, Judge of the Appellate Division, and to the Honorable Ronald Lee Reisner, Monmouth County, Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School, her Master’s Degree in counseling psychology from New York University and her B.A. from Boston College.
